27 Oct Career Preparations – Workshop
Our School in association with the Rotarians of Mangalore North conducted a career workshop on ‘Preparing for a career’ for the students of class X on October 27, 2014. President of Rotary Club of Mangalore North Mr. J.V. Shetty along with other Rotarians Mr. Alwyn D’Sa, Dr. Kusum and the vice principal of the school Sr. Janet Maria A.C. were on the dais for the inauguration ceremony. Our school staff, Mrs. Silvia Fernandes welcomed the gathering and introduced the guests and the resource persons.
The workshop was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries and the head girl Ms. Rebecca Albuquereque. Mr. J.V. Shetty, president of Rotary club of Mangalore North in his presidential address made the students aware of knowing different careers, hence a career programme like this, will be useful in schools to guide the students rightly. The resource persons enlightened the students about the different courses to be taken in PUC and various career options after PU studies. At the end of the programme, Ms. Rebecca Albuquerque proposed the vote of thanks.
