Sarah Joseph D’Souza of Class VIII took part in the State level Amateur Athletic Meet held at Bangalore and Davangere and won a gold medal in 600 mts. race; She also won gold medal in 200 and 400 mts and bagged the Individual Championship under juniors in the AIC
