01 Feb Angela Sarah DAlmeida emerges ‘Absolute Winner’ in Vocal Music in the International Youth Music Competition, USA
Angela Sarah DAlmeida, a grade 6 student of our school brought immense pride to the nation, to the school and her family by winning the prestigious “Artist of the Year” title as a part of the International Youth Music Competition (IYMC), USA December 2024 edition.
She was awarded an “Absolute Winner” in her category with a perfect score of 100.
Angela showcased her talent in the solo category, under the guidance of her mentor Tanisha Herbert from Bangalore. Her impressive performance earned her special recognition, not only for the artistry but also for the technical quality of her presentation, which was highlighted by the jury’s special mention for the accompanying video and audio work. Angela’s prize-winning entry was the song “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele Adkins and Paul Epworth in the recorded category.
Earlier Angela bagged first Place with honours at the International Youth Music Competition in December 2023.
This recognition is a testament to Angela’s incredible talent and hard work, as well as the collaborative efforts that contributed to her success.
