10 Dec Annual Day – 2011
The 4th Annual Day of Class IV – X was held on December 10, 2011. In the morning a few boys and cabinet leaders came to re-arrange the chairs, keeping ready the things etc.
In the afternoon, at 3.45 pm all the staff and students of Class IV to X came to the school for dressing and to get ready for the programme. The refreshments – cup cake and lemon drink was served to all the staff and students.
The programme began sharp at 5.15 pm for which Rev. Fr. Valerian Mendonca, Director of Sandesha, was the President of the programme, and Mrs. Philomena Lobo, JDPI, Mangalore, the Chief Guest of the day along with the principal Sr. Melissa, Joint Secretary Sr. Carissima and a few members of the Managing Committee were welcomed at the School gate with a traditional Guard of Honour by the School Band and were led solemnly to their seating places in a procession by the school guides.
After the orchestra and welcome dance, Principal Sr Melissa welcomed all. Around 7 pm, the stage programme was held. The President and the Chief Guest along with the Principal and Joint Secretary were taken to the dais and prize distribution for the top scorers and creative students was held. Then the Chief Guest and the President addressed the gathering. They spoke well of the institution and the programme. During the vote of thanks by Mrs. Asha Priya, mementos were given to the chief guest and the President. Then the programme Dance Ballet of North Indian Dances and UK dances continued. The programme got over around 8.30 pm with Christmas Carols in 5 languages. The entire programme was telecasted in V4-Namma Kudla channel.
