Mount Carmel Central School, Maryhill celebrated the 5th Annual Day of Juniors on December 6th 2012. Mr. M.V. Ramanan, Deputy Manager, M.R.P.L(admn) Mangalore was the chief guest who gave away the prizes to the achievers of the year.
Prayer dance ‘Shanthi Sadhana” set everyone in a prayerful mood. Sr. Carmel Ann A.C., Vice Principal of the School gave the welcome address; 4 students of class III compeered the programme. Nursery children danced to the tune “Nagu Nagu”, LKG children put up a fantastic show of dances of Africa, China and France. UKG children to “Fountain Drill, Kadala Parbaye, & Christmas special” & the meaningful skit “Little Princess & rhymes” impressed & entertained everyone. The students of Class I enlightened everyone with their performance on child labour. Class II students enacted a skit on “Sad King Mathematica” & highlighted the importance of Mathematics in one’s life. The tableau “Jesus Calming the sea” aroused sentiments of faith & trust in the Almighty.
