20 Nov Annual Sports Meet – 2010
Annual Sports Meet cum inauguration of the Dining Hall was held on November 20, 2010 at 8.30 am for which Mrs. Bharathi Dinesh, our corporator was the Chief Guest. After a short prayer she hoisted the school flag followed by the March past by the senior students of our 4 houses dressed in their house colour uniform. Then the Chief Guest Mrs Bharathi, Fr. Biju of Betharam along with Sr. Henrita, Sr Elsie and Mrs. Vidya Rai proceeded to the new Dining Hall where Mrs. Bharathi cut the ribbon and then Fr. Biju blessed the new Dining hall with a prayer and by sprinkling holy water.
Mrs. Bharathi declared the sports meet open and gave her short message to the students. After a short break, various sports events took place and many students took part in various events. A few eatables and ice cream was made available to the students for sale – Sr. Elsie and the workers saw to it. At 12 noon, the concluding ceremony was held in the new dining hall for which Mr. Uday Kumar, father of Minali of Class VIII was the chief guest and gave away the medals for the winners of the various events. It was an enjoyable day to all.
Sr. Henrita welcomed the gathering, Mrs. Vidya Rai proposed the vote of thanks and Mrs. Nandini Raghunath compeered the entire programme.
