ART FUSION 2022

It was a momentous day for us in celebrating the Art Fusion where there was a showcase of the talents and skills through art by the students as well as the teachers. The Art Fusion was organized by the Fine Arts Club of the School.

The programme started off seeking the blessings of the Almighty followed by the welcome dance by the students.

The Chief Guest of the day, Mr Eranna B T, an artist by profession, was welcomed by Rickston of Grade VII.

The inauguration of the Art Fusion was done by painting of the flowers on the canvas by the esteemed Guest, the Principal Sr Melissa, the Vice Principal Sr Lidwyn, and the art teachers Veena and Sunitha.

There was a painting demonstration by Mr Eranna, who stressed upon imagination and creativity because through imagination thinking takes place. He also added that now-a-days, art is a profession by itself and there is a wide scope in this field as well. A song and a dance of the State Uttarakhand was performed by the students of class IX.

Principal Sr Melissa appreciated the efforts taken by the students and teachers to put up the programme as well as the exhibition. She acknowledged with gratitude the initiative taken by the CBSE in introducing Art Integration Projects in schools which helps the students to study about the art and culture of another State, and for us, Uttarakhand. Both, the programme and the exhibition, highlighted the culture, music, art and crafts of Uttarakhand. It was a celebration of the talent and skills of the State we are connected to, for the Art Integration Project.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks rendered by Yuganth and Saanvi of Grade VII. Varshini and Pahal of Grade VII compered programme. This was followed by an exhibition of paintings, drawings, crafts and models made by the students as well as the teachers, which was a treat to the eyes of everyone.
