Career Guidance with Aptitude Test conducted for Grade X

Mount Carmel Central School conducts Career Guidance with Aptitude Test

“It is our choices that decide our destiny “.

The Grade X students of Mount Carmel Central School had a Career Guidance programme with an Aptitude Test on 21st February 2022 by Mr Patrick Braggs, CAP Coordinator, CODP, Mangaluru.

He illuminated the students on various career options in each of the streams – Science, Commerce and Arts, and introduced the vast multitude of opportunities offered in these streams, even those not in spotlights. He stressed upon time management and goal setting as tools for a successful life. He firmly believes that there is a way to maximize our productivity by adopting a timetable. He claimed that attitude, gratitude, prayer, honesty and humility are the governing characteristics of an eminent personality.

Post session, an aptitude test was conducted for the students which would guide them to choose the right stream after Grade X. The results of the aptitude test conducted will be shared with the students along with their parents shortly on a one to one counseling basis.

It was indeed an enriching program for the students to make right choices in their career.
