14 Sep Celebration of Hindi Diwas 2022
India is a country with diverse culture and languages. Hindi is the most widely spoken language of our country. September 14th is celebrated as Hindi Diwas in India to mark the adoption of Hindi as the official language by the Constituent Assembly in the year 1949.
The day was celebrated with much pride and enthusiasm. The day’s Morning Prayer and assembly was held in Hindi language highlighting the importance of Hindi.
Prior to this day, various competitions related to Hindi language were held for the students of Grade I to X to promote and provide a platform to explore their creativity in this language. Some of the competitions held were Grade I: Action song, Grade II: Poem recitation, Grade III: Story Telling, Grade IV: Poster making, Grade V: Slogan writing, Grade VI: Poetry writing, Grade VII and VIII: Mono Acting, Grade IX and X: Short story writing.
