‘Chef Craft’ 2015

‘Chef Craft’ 2015

‘Chef Craft’ contest was organized for our higher class students (VIII – X) on July 4, 2015. The event was all about presenting artistically carved fruits and vegetables.

‘Chef Craft’  was meant to showcase traditional as well as novel fruit and vegetable carving skills of the students. The contestants were given an hour to complete their tasks.

Artistic carving demands a great deal of imagination as well! Most fruits and vegetables were used at some point, with each contestant tasked with creating a pair of frogs using nothing but a cucumber and strategically placing pieces of carrot. Another student designed a lantern fruit basket. We even had a beautiful cradle with a ‘child’ placed inside.

Salad dressing and vegetable printing contests were conducted for the lower classes. In terms of participation, this event was a huge success with more than 100 young talents enthusiastically lining up to showcase their skills.
