15 Feb Class X Farewell Programme 2014
A farewell program was organised for the outgoing batch of Class X on February 15, 2014. This wonderful day began with a farewell Mass offered by Rev. Fr. Santhosh Kamath. The liturgy was prepared by class 8 with appropriate readings and hymns; At the end of the Mass Fr. Santhosh prayed for every Class X students laying hands over them.
After the Mass the class 10 students were welcomed by class 9 with hair bands made of flowers for the girls and pocket flowers for the boys. That was followed by a meaningful programme organised by a class 9 which began with a short prayer service followed by a fun and frolic programme which consisted of drama, dance and a wonderful farewell song. A game was conducted for audience and the teachers. A PPT was also presented that covered all the happenings and achievements class 10 had during the past few years in the school.
It was a moment of reliving the good memories they had of the school and their companions and teachers. The masters of ceremony Rebecca and Umair asked few questions to class 10 as well. Ms. Sylvia, class teacher of 10 shared her experiences with the students of class 10 and wished them well in their future career. Althea and Ryan of class 9 shared their views about class 10 and how they felt about them. As a sign of gratitude to the teachers and the school, students of class 10 sang few songs. The head boy Pratheek and Neethika expressed their gratitude in words. The principle Sr. Melissa gave a final message to the class 10 by giving out mementos that would remind them of their school. This was followed by lunch for the students of class 10 and teachers.
