14 Nov First Children’s Day Celebrations – 2008
The first Children’s Day was celebrated in our school on November 14, 2008. Mr. and Mrs. Sudheer Albuquerque were the guests of the day.
The programme began with a short prayer service thanking god for the gift of children and invoking blessings on them. Headmistress, Sr. Silvian welcomed the gathering. The programme was followed by a short entertainment programme by the staff and students.
On this occasion, an art, craft and science exhibition was organized by the staff and students which was inaugurated by Nisha Albuquerque. Mr. Sudheer, in his message to the students and parents appreciated the efforts of the management to give quality education to the students in such a short span of time. He also encouraged the parents to give their full support and co-operation in all the school activities. The parents went round the school viewing the exhibits and were happy looking at the creative aspects of their children.
Inauguration of the Aqua Guard was done by Mr. and Mrs. Muralidhar Shetty, which was also donated by them. A mini fete was organized and all enjoyed the same.
