Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated uniquely on October 6, 2010, due to mid-term exams, first with a short prayer service and then each class did some Shramadhaan to uphold the dignity of manual labour. The different tasks were allotted to different classes which included class room cleaning, dusting; veranda cleaning, dusting and campus cleaning. The boys of Class VIII and IX also did the work of filling pot holes with mud of the road leading to our school. It was encouraging to see all the students engaged beautifully in doing the manual work.
