Work in Progress – Herculean Task
A famous expression in English: When the going gets tough, the tough get going – meaning when the situation becomes difficult, the strong will work harder to meet the challenge. So did the management of the school.
They left no stone unturned to fulfill their dream of having a CBSE School at Maryhill. The engineer, contractor and the workers at the site too joined in our venture to make it a reality. They worked day and night to complete the ground floor of the building as classrooms are to be ready by June 01, 2008 to house the first batch of students from class I to V.

Genesis of MCCS

It was realized on this day when the first batch of 130 students on roll from KG to Class V walked into the portals of the school.
It was a wonderful sight to see the parents accompanying their children with lots of hope, aspirations to witness their buds to blossom forth in this new school housed in a building still under construction with just 6 classrooms ready.
The Primary concern of the school management was to build a society based on principles of love and compassion by empowering the youth through holistic education which in turn will help the students to achieve the school motto ‘Higher & Nobler’.
On the 1st day, the headmistress Sr. Silvian, administrator Sr. Henrita and Sr. Claretta, Superior of Maryhill Convent welcomed the parents at Maryhill Convent gate and led them to the Convent – Sacred Heart Hall for the inaugural prayer and function.
