Investiture Ceremony 2015

An impressive ceremony of the Cabinet Initiation of the Mount Carmel Central School (MCCS), Mangalore for the year 2015-16 was held on June 25, 2015 in the premises. Mr. Walter Nandalike, Founder of Daijiworld, was the Chief Guest on this occasion. We firmly believe in almighty’s presence and began our programme with a prayer service by saying, “Let us Remember, that we are in the Holy Presence of God.”

After invoking Lord’s blessings, the lamp was lighted by the Chief Guest,MrNandalike,Principal, Sr. Melissa, Administrator, Sr.Carissima,the School Head girl, Radhika Bansaland the Head boy, Chris Orlin Cardoza.

The meaningful ceremony commenced with a caring dialogue between the Alma Mater and the Cabinet members, showering on them courage, motivation, enthusiasm and the discipline needed to work together cooperatively aiming always to be higher and nobler in their thought process, thus to build a true and safe school system that accelerates the growth of body, mind and spirit of the students all round the year.

The Principal Sr. Melissa administered the oath to the Head Girl Radhika Bhansal of Class XII and the Head Boy Chris Orlin Cardoza of Class X. Then the other cabinet ministers were sworn in. The members vowed to be responsible in their respective duties.

Mr. Walter Nandalikeaddressed the students. He first congratulated the newly formed School Cabinet and motivated them to prove themselves worthy of the responsibility bestowed upon them. He encouraged them to be diligent and determined to attain greater heights in life in whichever field they choose.

He posed a question to the students ‘How do people become great leaders?’ and further went on to reply ‘They make use of their time by doing right thing at the right time.’ Thus he stressed on the importance of ‘valuing time’ and inculcating this good habit while they are young.

Radhika Bansal welcomed the gathering and Chris Orlin Cardoza proposed the vote of thanks.The function was compeered by Frizzel D’Souza. The entire programme was educative, interesting and inspiring gearing up for a fruitful and eventful year.The programme ended with the School Anthem.
