24 Mar Kindergarten Graduation Day 2023
We joyously conferred the graduation title to yet another batch of 152 students of the kindergarten on Friday, March 24th in the School Auditorium.
UKG A and B had their ceremony at 8.45 am with Dr. Sandra Sunitha Lobo, Associate Prof. & H.O.D, Department of Psychology, Roshni Nilaya as the chief guest and UKG C and D at 10.45 am with Dr. Kurian P.J, Associate Prof., Fr. Mullers Medical College, Mangaluru as the chief guest.
There was a spontaneous standing ovation from the audience as the smart kindergarten graduates marched into the venue along with their facilitators, the chief guests, Principal Sr. Melissa and Administrator Sr. Carissima. The ambience was filled with an aura of jubilation.
The Almighty was praised and glorified for the marvel of life in every child and for the numerous blessings received. The Students of LKG entertained the tiny graduates and their parents with music, movement, grace and poise. Conferring the title and administering the pledge was certainly the privilege of the Principal. In her message, Sr Melissa urged the parents and mentors to be the potters and mould the little ones with support, encouragement, appreciation together with firmness leading towards the school motto ‘Higher and Nobler’. The graduation song sung by the tiny graduates caught the attention of the audience not only with its lyrics but also by the synchrony and the discipline in the students. It was overwhelming to hear words of gratitude delivered by the little graduates, Roston, Riyon, Jia and Nivya reminiscence their early formative days in the Kindergarten.
The chief guest Dr. Sandra Sunitha Lobo in her convocation address touched upon sensitive issue to accept, love, comfort and discipline children at an early stage of life.
Dr Kurian P J spoke about an insightful area ‘Curiosity’ and as mentors and parents one should inculcate this at an early age.
The most awaited moment was when the tiny graduates received their very first diploma along with their parents from the chief guests. The auditorium was filled with thunderous rounds of applause and cheers.
Both the guests and the parents were amazed at the performance put up by the LKG children, the little emcees who confidently emceed the entire jubilation and the gratitude expressed by the tiny graduates. It was indeed a joyous and meaningful celebration.
