Our Athletes spin to victory in the AICS Athletic Meet

Our Athletes excel in the AICS Inter-School Athletic Meet 2019 of ICSE and CBSE Schools of D.K. district organised by Bhuvana Jyothi Residential School, Shirthady and held at Moodabidri Swaraj Maidan on November 30, 2019. The school claimed a wonderful sweep of 12 gold, one silver and 2 bronze medals and 3 students bagging individual championship and overall championship in Under 14 category.  The winners are:

Under 14 Girls Category – Sweedle D’Souza of Class VIII C – Gold in 100mts, 400mts, long jump and Individual Championship; Venessa D’Souza – Gold in 200mts. Also Sweedle D’Souza of VIII C, Venessa D’Souza of VII A, Aapti B. Poojary of VI D and Eshal Correa of VI B – Gold in Relay 4×100. The Under 14 girls’ team bagged the Overall Championship.

Under 17 Girls Category: Rochelle Tulip Pais of Class IX B – Gold in 400mts, 800mts and Bronze in 200mts and Individual Championship. Bhuvi of Class X C – Bronze in 1500mts. 

Under 17 Boys Category: Hashir Shaikh Suleman of class X – Gold in 200mts, 400mts and Silver in 800mts and bagged the Individual Championship. 

It’s a great record of moving forward. The school management and staff congratulates the athletes for their achievement and bringing glory to the alma mater.
