Our Cubs and Bulbuls celebrate “World Thinking Day”

On the occasion of World Thinking Day, the Cubs and Bulbuls of our School celebrated the event on 21st February 2025, bringing together students, teachers and guests to reflect on the values of the global Scout and Guide movement.

The programme commenced with an inter-faith prayer, followed by a warm welcome by Cub Pratham and Bulbul Naimisha. The highlight of the event was a skit, performed by the Cubs and Bulbuls which showcased the legacy of Lord Baden-Powell and Olave Baden-Powell, the pioneers in this field. The cultural segment featured a dance performance and a patriotic song igniting a spirit of love for the nation followed by an awareness act on responsible social media use.

The chief guest, MCCS Guide Captain Aparna Phadte in her address emphasized the importance of scouting and guiding principles in shaping young minds and encouraged students to uphold the values of Cubs and Bulbuls. The administrator, Sister Carissima congratulated the students and highlighted the rule of Cubs and Bulbuls “Do your Best” and motivated the students always to strive to be “Higher and Nobler” as the school motto goes.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Cub Reyansh and Bulbul Neha. The celebration truly reflected the essence of World Thinking Day, fostering a spirit of global friendship, service and unity.
