In the 20th edition of The Hindu Young World Quiz with 369 teams of school students vying for the top honours in the City, the name of Mount Carmel Central School shone bright as Reona Godwin and Shantanu Vaibhav Anish won the Championship in the junior category, while the third prize in the junior category was also bagged by Vidyuth Ajith Soman and Tanisha Shetty of Class VI.
Mount Carmel NCC Cadets won the first place in the Patriotic Singing Competition held at St. Agnes College (Autonomous), while Aapthi of Class VI and Anvi of Class V won the first place in Dance Talented Siblings at the Bondel Fiesta. Siona Pinto of Class III bagged the third place at the Bala Bhavana drawing competition conducted in honour of Republic Day by Women and Child Welfare Department.
