Our Tiny Tots of LKG and UKG celebrate ‘Hand Dexterity Day’

The tiny tots of LKG and UKG celebrated “Hand Dexterity Day” on August 27, 2024 in the KG Hall. Learning becomes joyful and interesting when it is felt and learnt. The kindergarten mentors made 27th August a fun-filled day, a Bagless Day indeed for the children of LKG and UKG. Every activity had a hands on learning outcome whether literacy, numeracy, general knowledge or physical. Children showed excitement while they were doing the activity precisely and accurately with their hand movement. This activity based learning improved their social skill, observation, creativity, self confidence and curiosity. It was a joyful sight to see the tiny brains active with their little hands busy like the bees.

The activities included I know colours, number value, alphabet memory game, balancing the ball, hunting for the shapes, Jenga tower race, map my way (directions), vegetable pairing, guess and stick the parts of the face.

The Administrator Sr Carissima AC visited the activity area and encouraged the tiny tots in the way they could understand. Thus the evaluation for August 2024 took place in the kindergarten classes as per the NCF norms with an enjoyable ‘Bagless Day’ for the tiny tots.
