Our UKG Children learn Traffic Signals in action

The UKG children came to school on 31st January 2023 with different toy vehicles which they proudly, cheerfully, excitedly displayed them on the respective modes of transport.

The playground was busier than the normal days, as the concept Red says “Stop”, Yellow says “Wait” and Green says “Go” was well depicted along with the use and benefits of the zebra crossing. The children were also given a chance to use the Zebra crossing. The display had in it the road and track, air and water transport. Later the children sang a rhyme on the traffic signals. The primary children too joined in the activity and acquainted themselves with traffic rules and different modes of transport.

This activity transported the children’s mind from abstract thinking to concrete absorption of concepts.
