02 Jun Shaalaa Prarambhotsava 2016
On 2nd June, 2016 we had the reopening of the school for the students of UKG to Class X and XII. They were warmly welcomed by the class teachers who made the students feel at home by interacting with them. There was a welcome assembly and inaugural prayer for all the students in the school auditorium conducted by class X Students. They invoked God’s presence and blessings on all of us with a prayer service. The new staff members were welcomed by the administrator Sr. Carissima with a rose each, followed by a message from her to the students to make best use of all the opportunities to grow and to become good, imbibing nobler qualities like kindness, respect to the elders in school, at home and in the neighbourhood. Then the principal Sr. Melissa welcomed all the students, specially the new comers and oriented the students with the school vision, mission and motto, highlighting a few important rules to be followed by the students. After dispersing to their respective classes, the class teachers along with the students went through the school calendar and enlightened the students with the culture and ethos of the school. They were acquainted with the Time table of the year. Thus the students began their academic year with much enthusiasm and new hope.
