25 Jul Shiksha Saptah 2024 : Day 4 – Cultural Day
On Thursday, 25th July 2024, the school celebrated Shiksha Saptah-Day 4 with a vibrant Cultural Day. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and teachers, with a total of 1352 students and 27 teachers joining in the festivities.
The day was filled with a variety of cultural activities, meticulously planned and executed by the dedicated teachers and talented students.
The classical and folk dance performances showcased a mix of traditional and contemporary styles. The students performed with great enthusiasm, bringing energy and joy to the event.
The singing session featured solo and group performances. Students sang a selection of cultural and folk songs, highlighting the rich musical heritage of different regions.
The theme “Unity in Diversity” was brought out well through theatrical drama and a street play presented outside the school campus where the acting skills and the well-crafted script received much appreciation from the audience.
An engaging cultural quiz tested the students’ knowledge about various cultural aspects. It was an interactive and educational experience, with students eagerly participating and learning new facts.
Class teachers of the primary section organized a traditional food segment where students brought and shared traditional dishes from different regions. This activity not only allowed everyone to savour diverse cuisines but also promoted cultural appreciation and understanding.
In addition, various aspects of Indian culture were highlighted through activities such as story telling, a puppet show, action song, art and craft and musical performances by the students.
The event was a grand success, fostering a sense of unity and cultural pride among the participants. The efforts of the students and teachers were truly commendable, making the‘Cultural Day’ a memorable part of Shiksha Saptah 2024.
