04 Sep Teachers day Celebrations 2015
It is said that, “A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind and touches a heart”. The school cabinet along with the students of class X, XI and XII organized a lovely programme for all the teaching and non teaching staff.
Teachers are most of the time serious and busy with their lessons and so to showcase their talents, we had lots of exciting games like treasure hunt, musical chairs, throw ball and a tug of war on the 3rd of September. The teachers enthusiastically took part in these games which gave them an opportunity to loosen up and enjoy.
This was followed by a programme held on 4th September in the school auditorium. The programme began with a prayer service. Head Boy, Chris Cardoza welcomed the gathering. The dances and songs created a magical blend of moves and melody, with the teachers dancing to the beats. The skits depicted the roles of the teaching as well as non teaching staff. A video was played on how teachers mould student’s lives. With some spot games the teachers enjoyed themselves. Students also expressed their gratitude to all the teachers by their warm words. Finally our principal, Sr.Melissa ended the programme by thanking everyone for this wonderful programme, wishing one and all happiness and joy and distributing sweets.
