07 Mar UKG kids with Colourful Masks
The UKG children had the Mask Day as their class activity for the month of March. The cutouts of the masks were given to the children to colour and to decorate it beautifully, during their class activity. The children were asked to bring a colourful shawl to add more taste and colour to the day.
In the morning after the assembly with the help of the class teachers they wore the masks and the colourful shawls and went in a procession in the school campus. The little ones assembled in front of the stage in the Main Block. The students of the higher classes were overwhelmed looking at the 160 colourful masked excited children of the UKG. They had action songs to entertain the on lookers. As it was snack break time, all the students were enjoying this beautiful sight from the corridor windows.
Then the colourful masked line marched on to the nearby Infant Jesus Primary School. They exchanged their masks with Aganavadi and class I children and danced to the music that was played on by the school. After that, they headed back to their pavilion to give joy to the parents of Nursery and LKG kids. The chocolates given at the end by the Principal were like a cherry on the cake. Thus the Mask Day was exciting and enjoyable to all at Mount Carmel and the parents of the UKG children.
